SAFE Transportation is always accepting applications for drivers
All applicates must bring in the following when turning in an application:
A valid Oregon driver's license and your social security number for a standard background check.
Applicants who pass the background check will have to go to the DMV and have the DMV fax Safe Transportation a copy of applicants driving history for the past 3 years.
*Applicants who fail a background check and/or have significant incidents in their driving history will have their application denied. Safe Transportations works mostly with children: Portland Public Schools required clean records to clear an applicant for transporting their students.*
All hired employees must undergo several steps before being cleared to drive SAFE clients. For full steps see the DRIVERS page, through the SERVICES page.
