- Undergo thorough background and criminal history checks. Prior to hire and at six
month intervals transporters must submit DMV reports to insure compliance with State of
Oregon and City of Portland laws and ordinances.
- Attend an annual Defensive Driving Class that addresses Rules of the Road, Collision
Avoidance, Speed and Seatbelt and Safe Driving skills.
- Subject to periodic and random drug and alcohol testing administered by objective
professionals.
